All knitters know what I’m talking about.
I make soft fluffy plush baby sweaters and I use patons melody yarn. I love how soft it is the colors it comes in and it’s squishy.
I got asked to make a baby neutral blanket and sweater and hat for a baby gift. So I went with greens and wanted a green to go with the blanket.
So I picked out a totally different yarn…
And it did not work. So I ripped it out.
This is a part of knitting my Hubby loves to participate with he loves to rip my work out.
It was too tight just not the right kind of yarn. So this yarn may get made into a cowl or something else. But decided to stick with my patons melody and white goes with this blanket. So…
This is the sweater she’s getting with the blanket. But always good to try something new!
So that title isn’t totally true. The weekend after I had time to knit. But when your in pain you don’t really want to do anything. So I did get some knitting time. But then my hubby went on a 3 day business trip leaving me to hobble after the children. No knitting possible while hobbling.
So how did this happen you wonder. Or at least the X-Ray tech did. Well, my almost 2 yr old was next to me standing on one of the tall kitchen stools and decided to start dancing around. I had my arm around him just incase so when the stool tipped my grip tightened and not paying attention to the stool didn’t notice it falling for my feet. Yup, collective cringe and you know what happened next. My almost 2er heard a lot of words he had never heard before. And then we both cried together.
So I found this Blog, Etsy Finds where the writer (Krysthle) gets others to promote her friend Linn Warme and her Etsy shop, and in return she promotes you! Brilliant!
So Here is my post promoting her fabulous items and here are a couple of my fav’s.
Earrings from Linn Warme
Brooch from Linn
But you should check her page and see what you like!
This is the thing I love about Etsy. There is a real community of people on there helping each other out, promoting each other. It’s a great thing to be apart of.
